Well I was answering from the "This is what I'd give up for the guy" angle. Not necessarily taking into account what it would take, just what I would pay for his services. If the Leafs can get a first for him, more power to 'em, but they wouldn't get it from me.

Fair enough. Change the 2nd to a 3rd and you got a deal!

I can't see them getting a first either.

Yea, I dontr think i would even give up a second rounder considering he will want a raise next season and there really is no way the rangers can resign him. He is another streaky scorer and even though he is a bigger body he isnt really THAT physical.

cole, tkachuk, laperriere...those are the players i would be interested in

Well if the Rangers got Antropov, it would be purely as a rental.

How could any Rangers fan not like the Marchant or Weight deals?

And I'm not in favor of screwing up Dubi's development for instant gratification. He has all the tools to be a good second line center who plays physical and puts up some points. He's had a bad stretch but let's not forget what we saw him do in the beginning of the season. Hell, in the San Jose game we saw that he was getting his game back. Now is NOT the time to move him to wing. And even if it were, Joel Lundqvist is NOT the answer.
Well do you think detroit has enough to sign zetterberg AND hossa?

I was always under the impression that Hossa was there for a year and was gonna attempt to win a cup, then go sign some where long term. Im positive if it came down to Hossa Or Zetterberg they would re-sign Zetterberg no question.

I also think Hossa would have had a better chance at the cup signing with the Habs. I dont think the goaltending on detroit is gonna cut it this year. Osgood's cindarella story appears to be over.

They won't. And they'll keep Zetterberg.

So, what's his problem with all the other goaltenders in the league? Why can't he score goals when he faces them?

what about bringing knuble back. he is gritty, always around the net and i think he is slumping a little bit.

Edit: come to think of it, Phillie would never help us out, so i guess thats a bust.

Avery is a disgrace to the town of Pickering
