Defensive SLIGHT SLIGHT SLIGHT edge to Richards (Carter has size, wing span, and speed that give him a natural advantage over Richards defensively, I think Richards is a bit better mentally and positionally though and he's much better on the draw.)
Mike Richards. He's still the Flyers best player, I don't care how many goals Carter scores.
I wouldn't say that....Richards is still the most VALUABLE players and will probably always be, not the best....carter is becoming the best player, but richards brings more to the team. Bob Clarke is not even close to being the best player in Flyers' history...but he is certainly the most valuable.
