Make your offer for Kaberle...

Let's see what team would give the best offer for Toronto's top asset.

Maybe later on after we get in all the propoals we can open up a poll and see which one would win.

Try to be as realistic as possible. Also keep in mind bidding wars are possible as well.

Teams that are contending for the cup will probably have a better chance as it would make it easier for Tomas to waive his NTC

May the best offer win!

Cheers

PS. We'll than send this off to the respectable GM's and make this a reality...JJ LOL.

Let's have fun.

I don't understand the TSN thing either!?!?!

Anyway, my offer would be:

Chris Higgins
David Fischer
2010 1st round pick

Just a thought but...

I'd assume a competitive offer would consist of a 1st in 09, a top prospect and a young up and comer/established Forward.

That woud seem to be the standard for a player of Kaberle's calibre and great contract in this cap carzy world.

Morrisonn (salary but also a decent youngish Dman with some upside left), Fehr, Lepisto (or perhaps another prospect if someone else is more interesting... I know you had mentioned Godfrey before, that works too), 2nd. I don't think the team could part with a 1st in all this but then again who knows what GMGM would be willing to do.

The big issue here is cap space. The Caps would ideally send back more salary in this (someone like Clark) but they really don't have anyone of value that they can throw in a deal like this (unless you think Kozlov would work). If Nylander can be moved before this then the cap space becomes less of an issue.

Toronto's after picks and forward prospects, right?

In that case... the Jackets offer 1st 09, 1st 10, and Mayorov. (And if you took Backman off our roster in the process we would be very grateful. )

(Let the LOLs commence!)

Why would you offer TWO first round picks? Waaaay too much imo.

i like this offer from both sides tor get a good young D in lee and Vermette while having a slow year has a great upside and tor doesnt have any 2'nd round picks in two years and this fixes that to me ott2 this year and in 2011 > low first this year

and Ott gets one of the best puck movers in the game and thats something they are really lacking

Could see something like this... but maybe from the Sens part they could give a little less or get a forward to sweeten the deal and help there second line scoring

If it was a 1st in 09 the deal would be done.

I'd assume division rivals would have to pay a lil more as trades within the conference rarly happen.

What about Vermette (Underachieving forward), Foligno (prospect?), 1st in 09 for Kaberle

Seems really lopsided considering Columbus' place in the standings, but I suppose with Kaberle it would significantly improve that thus decreasing the value of the first round picks. In fantasy nothing to lose land, i'd do it. Real life scenario I don't know.

I dont understand why people are making offers with 2011 and 2010 draft picks. They probably want 09... 2011 picks, you probably aren't gonna much use until 2013 and maybe beyond.
