Colorado Needs a Center

Joe Sakic is out for another 3 months, and Paul Stastny suffered a fractured forearm last night and is out indefinitely. Their #1 center is now Tyler Arnason. Might be an opportunity to move a big salary out.

assuming forsberg does come back ,colorado is probably hanging out the rest of their cap for him .

and what could we possibly need from their already depleted line up?

I wouldn't hope to move salary this way. Sakic is probably done, but it's not like we're going to take on a big salary just to fill a hole for a few months, then be stuck with it.

I hope.

It's possible that Wayne Gretzky would score 1 goal in 26 games playing with voros and Sjostrom.

Don't make the players Dubinsky is playing with out to be legends then. They are FAR FROM that. That was my point. I'm sure you got it.

You can't compare a Drury whose netted 38 before in his career to a Dubi who really isn't a natural goal scorer.

he wasin't producing with zherdev and he got bumped its as simple as that, nazzy and z are clicking and apperently drury is comfortable iwth dawes and cally so dubi will have to wait.

He wasn't producing with Zherdev? What team were you watching? Dubinsky was having his best production with Zherdev.

Yeah... Why did Renney break up That Zherdev-Dubi-Nas Line? It was our best line by far. It was the only one who could cycle the puck creatively and make the defense respect the entire ice in the offensive zone.

With Drury now clicking with Dawes/Cally, Maybe he should throw Gomez with Sjo and Korp (The speed might be enough to make it effective) and have Voros-Betts-Orr/Fritchse on the 4th.

We would have 3 completely different scoring lines with each harnessing their own unique look. It would be hard for a team to completely shut us down. Could be an interesting idea.

When Dubinsky actually tries hard again, then people should stick up for that dog. Watch any game Callahan plays compared to Dubinsky and you'll clearly see why Dubinsky is doing nothing. Somebody should show him a tape of Callahan as well.

I have no problem moving any player with a big salary other than Lundqvist as long as they ge something back they can use to win games this year. Colorado doesn't have any kind of center to send in return if we traded them Gomez .

I can't believe I'm saying this but how this solution.

Gomez to L.A. which I'm sure he would accept.

for

Stoll and Hanzdus

Then bring Jagr back......

There, I said it. Put Hanzdus with Jagr to give us a forward line with some size. Honestly, it's not a bad solution right about now.

How are you going to get Jagr back?
