Glad you guys remember my opinion of him.

Somebody should tell these refs we're in Tampa, not Carolina.

How do they still have a two man advantage? Boynton should be out of the box, and Campbell should still have 2+ minutes left on his.

DeBoer is overcomplicating the golatending situation. when Vokoun plays the way he did against the Lightning on Friday, you sit him until Anderson takes a dump in the bed, and vice versa.

is it that complicated?

I hope Deboer rips this team a new ******* during intermission.

He rode Andy during his run after Boston and it paid off. There's logic in either choice, and I think he's also keeping the boost Andy will bring midway through the game in his pocket for later.

Edit: Ahh, nm.

We just gotta forget about this period and play hard in the 2nd and 3rd. This was just a fiasco of penalties.

LMAO they showed a lot shot of PDB and he looked red as a tomato. Wasn't saying a word. I think he's just waiting for the intermission to rip these guys apart.

Ok and a PP, let's get one.

we deserve everything that has happened tonight. We have no fire nor grit. We are being outplayed and and out hustled in ever facet of the game. ViD stay on your board. The Lightning are still garbage. We will come back and win this one guys. Deboer is probably throwing every adjective he can find to express his view.

It wasn't your team that drew those penalties.

I really hope Vokoun stays in. This team can't expect a goalie change to get them going. They need to clean up their own mess.

Earlier in the year I complained about our terrible powerplay. That was back when we were last in the league on the pp and didn't have McCabe back there. I said that it was the fact that the Panthers play a terrible pp system this year and are unable to enter the zone. This in my mind is due to the departure of Guy Charron.

Our pk is doing well, we have Kitchen taking care of that.

But our pp is 28th in the league and we are probably not going to make the playoffs if our powerplay is more of a detriment than an advantage. It's not like we don't have guys who can't score on the pp. The talent is there for a solid pp in my mind, the system is pathetic. Even without McCabe we have
Stillman - see his history
Horton - wicked wrist shot from one of the faceoff circles
Olesz/Booth - Good in front of the net
Weiss/Bouw - Passers
Frolik - Has an eye for the net

Yet every time we set up the pp, if we can even enter the zone properly that is, we do the same dumb umbrella system where McCabe is expected to take 9/10 shots.

The other team's pk preparation must be the easiest all year. Cover the points.

Now that McCabe is back and most of our guys are healthy, can someone agree with me that the system we are playing must go?
