Sit Lundy for Isles game?

I was thinking maybe putting Vally between the plumbing for the Isles game might be wise. Our D seems to play a little bit better with Vally in for some reason, maybe they think since he is not as great as Lundy they need to put more effort into their work. Additionally the Isles offensive attack is not as threatening as the Devils or Caps. Might be a good time to give Lundqvist as breather.

"Give him a breather"? Didn't he just sit 2 games on the WEST COAST? NO, he plays! So if we make the playoffs should we ride Vally because they play harder in front of him, as u say? This is silly.

I agree with you 100% on how our defense plays better with vally but there is now way we should sit Henrik for this game. I think Mondays game is a big game for this team and if they lose its going to be very interesting to see if management makes any changes

Maybe it wouldnt be punishment, its got to be torture playing behind this team every night.

Both mentally and physically

I think what this team needs is a damn shutout win.

it will raise the confidence boost, it will show that they arent complete dumbasses and most of all it will make hank satisfied and we all know how much hank loves shutouts.

Your right...didnt think of it like that.

Lundqvist could probably use a break from the horrible defensive coverage and constant odd man rushes he faces...

Exactly what I was thinking, maybe tomorrow will be the night we pull our heads out of our ***** and get a shutout? Right now were on the edge of management doing something drastic and losing to the fishermen will do it. We need a big win to boost confidence.

There is a good chance we will win this since the Islanders are not coming off of a loss (OMG) when we play them like San Jose, Wash and Jersey were so we wont be the rebound game... yayyyy

sit your... "vezina-worthy" goalie against a divisional team, who also happens to be your franchise's biggest rivalry?

A shutout? You must be dreaming. First, our defense looks like crap and second, Islanders are the kings of lucky pinball goals.

They shouldn't sit the King, they should sit Gomez, Drury and Redden.

Insert Frictche Prucha, and Potter....

Do you have some information that nobody else does? I think we all agree that management needs to make a move, but that doesn't mean we're on the edge of a movie.
