Second one is more dramatic so it must be more embarrassing..

I mean 3 seconds before the end - BAM, herpes!

Imagine it was on his own net.

The puck just jumped over Stefans stick, noone could've forseen that.

The commentator screaming that it doesn't belong in the NHL is a moron, just a freak occurance.

O'Bryne just made a simple mistake. One that has been made numerous times already.

Stefan had a breakaway on an empty net and missed. That is way worse. (especially since Oil scored right after)

I also think that the Flyers goalie a few years ago that was watching the jumbotron on a dump in and let in a goal, or Brodeur's own goal are more embarrassing.

More Embarrassing would be The O'Byrne incident as it later lost the game for the habs.

The Stefan incident was way Funnier and embarrassing, but its not as bad because the puck bounced over his stick, could have happened to anyone.

O'Byrne's, was easily much more embarassing.
Mainly because...

-He did it on home ice.
-He plays for the Montreal Canadiens.
(That pretty much means, ridicule from the home crowd, with no rock to crawl under).
-Own goals are MUCH more embarassing, than missing an empty net after hitting a rut in the ice.
-He pretty much was the talk of the town, and again, couldn't hide from his mistake, no matter where he hid.
-Did I mention he did so while playing for the Canadiens? That means chants, and sarcastic cheers everytime you touch the puck, which pretty much would rattle the most mentally strong young athlete, until they could possibly shake it off while playing on the road, or after a few games.
-Stefan's blunder. He can blame it on the bad ice.
-O'Byrne?...Well, yeah...his is more embarassing.

The puck should have been in the net long before it hopped over his stick. I vote Stefan.

The Stefan incident, it would have been more embarrassing even if Hemsky didn't score after. That was an incredible moment.

That describes the O'Byrne incident more than the Stefan incident.

Ray Ferraro's call was the most embarrassing thing about the Stefan incident.

Considering this was in the heat of a playoff hunt, and literally inexplicable, I think this one takes the cake for 2nd place behind Stefan.

And oh ya, it was with 20 seconds left and the game losing goal.

If the Oilers were the 5th worst team, they win the lottery. Patrick Kane is an Oiler and Sam Gagner is most likely a Hawk.

Damn Hemsky and his ability to make the highlights.

What are the odds that anything like that will ever happen again?

Ray Ferraro's call is what makes the Stefan play even greater. He is 100% correct. It was all Stefan's fault showboating instead of shooting the puck in the empty net. He got what he deserved and is now out of the NHL, just like he deserves to be. What a crappy player.
