Reasons to be excited for a better playoffs this year

Last year's playoffs were pppppretty boring IMO.. NJ taking their defensive style all the way to the top; the Minnesota-Anaheim Conference finals.. sure there were some things to be excited about.. the upsets by the latter teams.. Game 7 of the East Conference finals.. Anaheim taking it to Game 7.. but other than that it seemed like last year was a pretty boring playoff.. here's why I think this year will be better:

- Every team going into the playoffs (especially in the East, and in from places 5-8 in the West) are really equal.. no one knows what to expect.
-As a Canadian, its exciting to see all three Canadian teams in the East, and hopefully 2 in the west competing for the cup.
-Andrew Raycroft and David Abeischer are going to be tested.. itll be exciting to see how he reacts.
-Jose Theodore,Ed Belfour, Martin Brodeur.. (and the list goes on).. I'm a big fan of goaltending, and this year has been a great year for goalies.
- The Ottawa Senators and Toronto Maple Leafs
- A potential Habs vs Leafs first round
-We may not see any NHL hockey next year.. so hopefully players will bring a high level of competition .

I have alot more to be excited about.. so I'm guessing alot of other people do too

Now if that happens, I'll be really excited. The playoffs are making me nervous because the East is so tight but it shall make for a great playoffs this tear.

If Montreal and Toronto played in the playoffs I'd kill for tickets.

Imagine... game 7 in Toronto, me in my Habs uni cheering them on to an upset victory over the Leafs!

I agree, I think we're in for a much more exciting playoffs this year. I think we could actually see 2 agressive, offensive teams in the Finals instead of 2 trapping ones like last year.
