Jason "the flopper" Labarbera

It seems as though Barbs may be the odd man out in LA with the recent great play of J. Quick and with Ersberg coming back from injury with in the next couple games. I myself don't think he has much trade value but I do think a playoff team could make a move for him with the thinking he could be there backup. Also I know he has a 1 way contract so he could be claimed off waivers if the kings sent him down.

What do you guys think? By the way I am a kings fan and I say we just give Barbs away for free

We'll be lucky if we get a 7th rounder for him

Nobody is going to want Labarbera, unless there is a market for backup goalies at the deadline. As a starter, though... well, I don't think I even need to go there, since everyone already knows he sucks.

He would make it through waivers. No one would take him, and no one is trading for him.

Future considerations. The considerations being that the Kings will send $100 bucks with Jason LaBarbera to get a team to take him.

Last year Kings fans claimed Labs was a starter goalie with simply no defense

He's worth a lot more than the swiss cheese masquerading as defensemen in front of him.

If the wolfpack are making a run for the Calder Cup I'd take Jason in a second. He dominates the AHL.

I wouldn't mind the Canucks picking up Labarbera to backup Sanford until Luongo is back.

You couldn't be more wrong. The Kings defense is giving up very few great scoring chances this season and leads the league in the fewest number of shots allowed.

Jason is worth so much
He has been an MVP!
He has been the best goaltender in the league he has played in
He has the record for most shutouts in a league
He has been a first team all-star in multiple leagues

The Kings may deal him.... if we get the right offer

just take him please...

It's the 2008-2009 season. You might want to look into that.

same. Funny thing no one complains about his big pads. But when the goalie is playin real good, then they complain. Whinny ********!

would love to pick up the Burnaby native.
