Seeing this thread once again has led me to finally sign up.

I've been lurking between here and the 'official' team forum for a number of years and never registered because my raw misanthropic attitude usually leads to an overt amount of pessimism which is typically slightly intolerable - somehow this leads to a reluctance to post. The pessimism, however, seems like it will at least be respected here provided it comes with a considerable amount of thought.

Don't expect me to post very often, but I'll try to chime in here and there from now on.

Like I said it serves a purpose and most of the big teams on HF have a bunch of sticky's

No reason we cant have a couple useful ones ,,, But since you seem to object so much I will drop the Draft sticky until after season

Its nice to have this thread stickied. New Blackhawk fans who register here will not be able to find this thread otherwise. I had to really search for this thread for the new users who registered today, and the only reason I found it was because I knew such a thread existed.

I've been posting for a while now, but was a lurker for months before that.

I'm from London Ontario as you can tell, and the Hawks have been my favourite team since I was 10 and watching Roenick, Chelios, Amonte, Belfour (although I hate him for good reason) etc.

I love it here, and I love arguing as much as the next guy!

Been a lurker for a long time on this board- when I was a kid somehow I chose the blackhawks as my favorite team, and have sort of stuck since.

Hoping for a matchup with the stars in the playoffs so I can drive and go to a game- never been to an NHL game before.
