Oh ya I need to say high. I'm a huge hawk fan but I live in Texas so I can't go to any games. I've only been to one game which was the feb 11th game. I was right by the ice and was the first person who stood up whenever we scored. I grew up around the hawks since my dad used to live in Chicago I actually lived there til I was 3 if that counts for amything. I'm one of 7 hawk fans that religiously watch them play in the entire state of Texas. Dont think I'm a bandwagoner cause I'm defiantly not. My favorite player is toews
Hello, everyone...I've played hockey since I was 5 and kind of ruined my playing career when I picked up a guitar, but still managed to play for a couple years with the Illini. I played really seriously in bands after college and was somewhat of a "hipster" that refused to pay attention to sports during that time, despite my past history as a jock...really dumb now that I look back on it.
I did a little side acoustic cover gig that Mark Bell and Tyler Arnason used to come out to occasionally because the guy I played covers with cracked them up...good guys, I'm sorry their careers didn't go exactly as planned because they were both really good for a couple years with the Hawks. Still, I was pretty focused on music and didn't really pay all that much attention to the Hawks or the NHL in general.
It was a spring game in the 2008-2009 season, however at UC that got me hooked again. It was the 6-5 comeback shootout victory against San Jose that kind of slapped me in the face and showed me what I had been missing all these years. After that, I've been pretty much hooked on the Hawks and the NHL, and especially the draft and prospects...hence my appearance here.
I've been lurking for a while...Massive and BWC, you guys, especially, crack me up and I enjoy your posts. I probably won't be as omnipresent as some of you guys, but know, as a lurker, I really enjoy reading everyone's comments. Cheers.

GO HAWKS GO
Hawks fan in Vancouver . Nice to have you here. Welcome.
Did you get a chance to see the cup when it is Thunder bay last off season?
Lurker turned poster. Huge hockey fan (following the whole NHL not just my Hawks)
My username is where I spend every season.
It took me three weeks to stripe my basement in red, black, and white.
I always root for Chewy Lemonhead and Friends to win the Zamboni Race.
I have some sort of protective mother instinct when it comes to Campbell.
Nothing makes me happier and more confused than listening to Dave Bolland attempt an interview.
And I'm exceptional at skating both clockwise and counter-clockwise around a rink.

Nice to meet y'all!
Welcome aboard, any chance we can get a picture of that basement? You might find my room a tad interesting. It's just a corner of my room and it's a crappy picture but here goes.

I am another lurking fan, reading all the topics, well, since of this regular season`s start. So I decided to log on to help our Hawks to beat the Nucks and bring them some luck in the Playoffs.
GO HAWKS !!!
ps: Please, sorry for my English sometimes, I`m still studying it
Hey folks I am have been a lurker since about last may when I found the site but I became a Blackhawks fan when I started watching hockey with my grandpa just before the playoffs in 09. Ever since then I have been following hockey around the league and tried to catch up on as much hockey things as possible. I go on the site at least 10 or 15 times a day on my phone so i figured it would probably be a good idea to actually sign up

Welcome to the board, both of you! Hope you guys stick around through the offseason, this board still isn't as active as it should be.
Hey everyone! I'm a long time lurker and a Hawks fan. I hope our guys can start the playoffs on the right foot tonight. I'm kind of a religious guy and I prayed that the Hawks made the playoffs and it worked. Hopefully a prayer will work tonight. LOL!
I am inexplicably a hawks fan living in southern california, I've only really been watching the NHL since the lockout but I've been watching minor league hockey for much of my life. I played, or tried to play, some hockey while I was in high school and love the sport dearly as both a fan and a player though I don't do the latter nearly enough anymore.
I'm currently in college studying CS, but tonight my studies are taking a backseat to pulling for a big win in vancouver.
