Im pretty sure that this won't solve any of Ottawa's goaltending issues.

2008/12/29: After winning in his return from a knee injury on December 26, Islanders goalie Rick DiPietro is back on the sidelines with a sore groin. Backup Joey MacDonald allowed five goals on 37 shots in the 5-4 loss to the Rangers on Monday.

IMO, Labarbera could do very, very well in the KHL

His contract ends this year

When is the last time anyone traded for a mediocre goalie? Don't they all clear waivers?

Ummmm did you note the words in the parentheses of my quote? How can you expect someone to maintain a winning attitude after festering on that roster for so many years?

As I said before, he needs a change of scenery to a team that always isn't living in the cellar of the division.

hmmmm it's not like Labarbara is awesome people........he is a backup so wherever he goes he should not be a number 1

Bernier and Quick are the future

Last season LA traded Aubin to the Ducks for a 7th rounder Dean is good at squeezing the last drops of value out of dry assets.

Labarbera for your AHL back-up and a 7th, any takers?
with all the trouble on blowing leads, i doubt Mcdonald is any worse than JLB.

IDK why, but I am thinking Nashville and yes, I know that dos not make any sense.

The best fits would be Tampa or New York Isles. . . . . maybe the rangers as a backup.

I really thought LaBarbera had something when he was playing in Hartford (AHL) way back when...I guess the wheels fell off...I still hold out some hope for him actually...
