Pierre said it was Latendresse.

Weird because I thought Sergei won a practice competition that meant he would be a shooter in the next one.

Price gives hi mask to Georges and takes his helmet, Price trips the guys as they go to him, Price nails Georges in the corner just as the game ends etc...etc... This is the latest one probably in response to a challenge from Georges(though others will say different). I now find my self eagerly waiting for the end game celebrations in case they do something stupid again. And I dont think this is the last time you'll see it. I am 100% convinced this was aimed at the player on the Habs bench and got a laugh as one more of these odd celebrations Price is getting us used too.
I actually never even thought about that. But it does make a lot of sense, especially after the previous things you pointed out.

I think the connection is Hulk Hogan....

Don't you guys remember, when we faced TB in the playoffs Hogan was at every game, his daughter even sang the anthem.

Maybe he was there tonight and Price met him or saw him.

Well, that was an awful game. I kept switching back between that and the Thrash/Leafs game, I couldn't decide which was worse.

Great game by Lapierre again, so that's nice.

Our powerplay will be 30th in the league before too much longer. Maybe lower. 35th or so, below some AHL teams.

What is the Usain Bolt ?

I assume it is taking your stick and pretending to sheath it like a sword into a scabbard ?

Didn't watch the Olympics, or go through the rest of the thread eh.
Usain Bolt had the same exact pose after breaking the world 100m.

Oh o.k. now I understand.

I thought he was doing the sheath-the-sword-into-scabbard move.

Makes sense that he did the Usain Bolt since the lighting had BOLTS written on their jerseys.

I liked the pose but I think people are making too much of it. He pointed! OMG, classless! Who cares, he struck a pose. It's cool because he's usually so calm, but I also like his shootout win celebration over USA at the WJC where he's jumping and showing some emotion. For all we know like znk mentioned, price and gorges always do their thing and they thought it would be funny if he did the Usain bolt to the bolts. Who knows. Maybe it was a little immature, but really, it may only look so 'classless' or whatever because hockey players are too reserved. Imagine a football celebration in a game, people would call it disrespectful, we're just not used to it. In the end, it's a pose, not at the tampa bench either.

I agree and thought of this right away, however, you are one of the last posters on here that I thought would spell Josh's last name "Georges".

Watched the game on RDS for a change since I am in Ottawa to see the WJCs. I see one of the stars they listed was a new guy named Komstopoulos

That's eye-popping bad. Goes without saying he's fantastic otherwise. Maybe they'll need to start using the Ron Wilson switch with him.

I was surprised how good Smith was with the puck. That was one of the best puck handling games by a goalie I've seen.

Both goalies were excellent 3rd defenseman from what I saw of the game.

Yeah they both have skills. If they weren't goalies, who knows, maybe we could try Price on the PP.

Mad props to Christ... Oops I mean Price...

Lats and MaxLap Woot Woot..

But even Carbo said that the momentum boost came from Kostopolous... Tell me about heart. To go after the guy who took out Tanguay when you know you have no chance. You could say he is fighting to stay on the team next year...

Artyukhin
HEIGHT: 6' 5"
WEIGHT: 254

Kostopoulos
HEIGHT: 6' 0"
WEIGHT: 201

Just a slight advantage...
