This time it's Beagle and Netzky. The E-mail address starts off with management@, administration@, staff@, noreply@, support@ and ending with the gateway provider. The attachment end with .exe, .pif, .zip.
Sympatico, rogers, norton, microsoft, adobe, etc all have built in applications that will download the latest update. Anything sent from support@microsoft or something like that saying that it's an update, it's not.
Also, hotmail doesn't need you to send anything to 15 people in order to keep your account active. Firstly, in the user agreement it says you need to check your account once every 3 months... not only that, but look at the attachment. If it's an image (.gif, .jpg), you know for sure that it's not real.
i have to reiterate that anythig you get with a .pif file just send it straight to the trash. Also you'll get one, like I did if you are at Yahoo. there is no such thing as firstname.lastname@example.org and believe me if they intend for you to get an email their own filtering system wont put it in the junk mail !!
