Visnovsky vs. Campbell vs. Kaberle

Out of these three defenseman, which one would you desire most on your team? Who do you think the best is? Elaborate on your answer.

I started this poll because all three are having fantastic seasons with their clubs (all on pace for more than 50 Points), while they are also had decent +/- ratings.

So if you could take one of these three players for now, and for their entire career.....who would it be?

Enjoy the poll.

Campbell is the best skater, Visnovsky has the best shot, while Kaberle is probably the most reliable defensively (albeit this year he hasn't been as good).

Campbell is a great skater, and great offensively but he has no idea what the "defensive zone" is.

Visnovsky is a lesser version of Kaberle IMO.

So I vote Kaberle.

Campbell - best offense (at this point)

Lubo - phenomenal puck rushing defenseman, great shot BUT the softest of the bunch

Kaberle - arguably the most well rounded w/ the most sustained success

I go the 3rd one

Haha no. I actually inherited this account from my cousin who had the username "TheLastoftheBest11", and once I took hold of the account, I wanted to make a username which would clearly signify my allegiance towards the Nux. I saw a lot of other usernames such as "IggyforHart", "Gagner4God", "HemskyforPM" etc,. Since I had lived in Chicago for some time. I became very connected with the American politics (although I was a canadian citizen). So I decided that Luongo4Vp would be a

Kaberle
Visnovsky
Campbell

They all aren't very good defensively but Campbell just looks lost in his own end

1. Kaberle- As others have said he is the most well rounded of the three.
2. Visnovsky- Slightly below Kaberle.
3. Campbell- Not of fan of Campbell at all. I think he's one of the more overrated d-men.

1)Campbell-at least he goes for hits sometimes. Average defensively, great skater
2)Kaberle_I'm a leaf fan and he's not as well rounded as everyone thinks. People always blamed McCabe but Kaberle is just as prone to the errors. Give aways and a - player the past few years.
3)Visnovksy-had a couple good seasons, reminds me of McCabe. Is showing decay. Power play specialist.

Campbell, in my humble opinion, is highly overrated.

Visnovski is okay, no more, no less.

I'd take Kaberle in a heartbeat though ahead of the other two.

What are you talking about? Had a couple good seasons? He basically had two 65 point seasons, a 41 and is now on pace for 53 points this season. He's not showing decay. He was -18 last season and he's +7 this season. He's having a bounce back year. Powerplay specialist? No. He's an asset on the powerplay but he plays almost 25 minutes a night and is very good 5 on 5.

Visnovsky has been pretty damn good defensively for the Oilers this season. He's everywhere on the ice.

Visnovsky-five on five 17 minutes per game- 15 goals against

Campbell-Almost 18 minutes per game- 28 goals against

Kaberle- 17 minutes a game- 34 goals against

Kaberle is the best of the three (even with his below average season to date) .. Then Visnovsky and finally Campbell.
