Even Price wasn't stopping that bomb. Nobody should be able to get a shot like that a way in the slot.

Not a bad effort by the decimated line-up, but they really could have used some goaltending help tonight.
On the other hand, Clemmenson was solid for the Devils.

Thanks for coming out Max Pacioretty, you're goal lands you a spot on the bench for the entire 3rd period.

Maybe this'll be one of those huge come backs. It IS Clemmensen in net, not Brodeur.

Pathetic gutless effort tonight, they really should be ashamed of that. No one with the balls to go to the net so we end up with shots from 30 feet out on a rush that misses the net and go carreening back down the ice. Garbage effort from the whole gang, this team desperatly needs Koivu back, it has zero leadership from the king of heartless play kovalev.
Really makes me sick to watch this so called hockey some nights.

AK's ok in my books, but he's really not showing the consisteny a 40-goal scorer needs to have. I'm now 100% sure I don't like how we drafted him ahead of Carter, Getzlaf, Parise, Richards etc. I know nobody ever pans out to be the star they're predicted to be in Montreal, but those guys would still be ahead of Andrei in their progression if they came up through the Habs. We can draft talent, but man do we ever trouble moulding it to something great. We leave that to other franchises when we get tired of the player.

The same Clemmensen with 13 wins, a .920 SV% and 2.33 GAA this season?

There are some things I don't understand in hockey. You've got 1 person (latendress) who gets to the puck along the boards, and there is a little pressure, but no one is fighting him for it, so he decides to pass it all the way along the boards....

people talk about the resurgence of the ATAK line but to me its been just okay. Even AK46 hat trick night, it was more of capitalizing on the few chances they got more than any type of sustained pressure.
the fact is, they need Koivu back and quick. The same could be said for Higgins. I am having my doubts that Kovy, Pleks, or Akosts will regain their consistency this year.

I've seen games where Lats played great and Carbo would still not put him on the ice. Carbo always feels the need to punish the kids

Habs played a good 1st period but Halak killed the momentum with his weak goals.

To bad the team has given up so many odd man rushes tonight, thats more bothersome to me then the goaltending.
