Should Sidney Crosby be suspended?

Do you think he should be suspended for his actions against McLean? I think he should simply because he literally just jumped him and McLean had no clue Crosby wanted to fight him.

Yes. Saying that Crosby "fought" him is laughable.

Yes, I hate how the leaque give less suspension time for stars. Crosby is cheap and he should be suspended for at least 5 games.

He should have been suspended for what he did in Atlanta too.

She Definitely should, you cant just attack someone off the faceoff who never intended to fight back and make him bleed at the same time. Did you even see him smash mcleans face to the ice, that had a potential to be a career ending play, we all remember bertz and moore incident.

I'm sorry, but the people voting 'yes' are doing so simply because they dislike Crosby.

That is not suspendable...the 19 minutes of penalty he got was enough.

I would have voted for that way if any player had done exactly the same thing, including Rick Nash. Why the NHL almost encourages that time of cheap goonery even after Bertuzzi, especialy when it is done by a "star" player, is beyond me. If someone else had done that they would certainly have been suspended IMO.

Rong. I like Crosby as a player, amazing talent. My opinion is that what he pulled here deserves a game or two of a suspension, and that's why I voted yes. If it had been anyone but Crosby, you would have never said that and we could have all voted as we please without being questioned. So maybe it's you who treats him differently because of who he is.

Well, Just watched, and it was a pretty cheap play by Crosby. He attacked so quickly and fiercely, not giving McLean a chance to prepare for the fight (which should of happened if it was a mutual fight). Looks like Crosby was actually just wanting to injure McLean, which is sad if thats true. If it is suspension worthy, it should only be a game or so.

He should have been suspended when he used Valabiks balls as a speedbag, let alone this. Great talent and all, but you can't do ***** **** like that. Just... no.

suspension for that? no, and if this was any other player this probably wouldn't even be discussed

No.

Rene Bourque did the same thing to Tyler Sloan, and sat in the box for 9 minutes, a suspension isn't warranted here.

Yep. Penalty minutes should be enough for that but it was really a lame move. Coming after his previous "fight" antics.

I think nearly an entire period of penalties was probably enough.

If he made a habit of jumping people though, different story.

No, he shouldn't be suspended for the "fight" against McLean. However, he should have gotten at least one game for the crap he pulled against Atlanta.

No. This has happened before without being followed with a suspension so I don't see why Crosby would get one.
