Nice puck movement on that PP and a good shot by Ville. He just buried his head and shot it.

Oh man Orpik needs to pick up on Horton's shot.

I think Nate has returned to old form.

Just as its 2-0, the highest ice time amongst forwards is Dvorak & Campbell. Now I know why this team struggles.

the D needs to tighten up a pinch. They got better as the period went on. The pens don't look to interested in the game and fleury looks shaky. We need one quick in the second to really take control. Nate's old form? He had an old form?

Just got in...I was shocked to see the score! The crowd is so quiet. Wish we still had Belak...no way Frolik gets knocked around like that if we had some muscle. 'Course, I've only seen four minutes of the game so far, so I could be off base.

A couple of seasons ago he had a great few streaks and played well for most of the season, and alst year with the Sunrise Express? I know Nate has struggled but he hasn't been playing poorly his whole career.

They've earned the ice time, they work hard together and have adjusted to DeBoer's system. Soupy's been a different player this season, seems he likes playing under his old coach. Thing is, the team started winning once they got more ice time.

Been a good game so far, Florida was getting pushed into their zone early, but it's opened up since Pelts scored, was a great goal, too.

I miss Belak, too, but he didn't fit. We need to get a Neil, Hordi, Janssen-type guy who can keep up but can fight. R2 wouldn't be pushing the team around then, either.

This is exactly what Mr. Bouw was talking about in the past few days: It's a team effort and the problems with the Panther's play of late lies with the efforts of the team, not just a few individuals.

1. A very active defense, and hitting too. Haven't seen that in a while.

2. Forwards skating into position, ready for a pass, instead of standing around waiting for one.

3. The power play's been good--lots of movement toward the low part of the net. The Penguins must have been watching tape of what the Panthers had been doing all year (Bouwmeester, McCabe). Nice to see the change, the PP is much more dangerous.

Nice save by McLean, but that was goalie interference.

EXCELLENT puck movement! Thats how you do it on the PP! Way to see them break out of the streak against the Pens. Lets keep it up boys, get another one!

Nice scrap there. Soupy got a couple to the back of the head, but nice little dance though.
