depends on who he plays with, but when will that be? next year, 2 years from now. Does he want to stay at UNH 4 years? Pat Kane will be on his 2nd contract by the time JVR is in a flyers uniform. They should put JVR on a savings bond.

Oilers fan here,

I'm pretty glad that he seems to be sticking with you guys. I saw him play a few seasons ago in Gatineau, and he looked nothing short of amazing.

Good on you guys, hope he recovers

I thought he said that this year would be his last.

I don't remember JVR making a comment on whether this would be his last or not, but I remember his coach making a comment saying it was a goal to get him ready for the NHL next year.

This is JVR's last year in college, for anyone unsure.

This should be fun...

Gagne - Richards - Giroux
Hartnell - Carter - JVR
Upshall - Briere - Nodl
Cote - Metropolit - Asham

Timonen - Cobourn
Carle - Parent
Sbisa - Alberts
L. Kukk.

I rather have Ossi than Alberts. If Nodl develops better offensive than I am fine with thost combinations, but if he doesnt, I rather swap Nodl with Giroux or JVR cause Briere needs someone with skill to play with. The whole issue since he has been here is that Gagne is the only one that really complements his skill.

I think Giroux is the perfect complement to Briere

I'd want Gagne to be left wing for Briere, but it would make changes so that Richards plays without Gagne, which also complements his skills.

Richards can play with just about anyone so I dont think it hurts him any.....it really depends what makes the team better

a) Gagne/Richards
b) Gagne/Briere
c) Gagne/Richards/Briere

Giroux was voted in as a starter for the AHL all-star game. I voted for him.

I'm just saying-- Richards is extremely defensive when it comes to the matters of Gagne involved, such as fights, hits, etc. That is strong chemistry don't you think? Richards can play with almost anyone, but I prefer a Gagne-Richards combination.

I prefer that as well, just making a point that I dont think you hurt Richards at all by takin Gagne away from him. He was basically on the same pace for points last year.

I think you hurt Richards by putting him with Giroux and Knuble, which is what a lot of people want to see. Those guys have their role, but Knuble stinks more than he helps on a top scoring line and Giroux looks good so far but won't light the world on fire just yet.

Yeah, I dont want to see that by any means.....What I wouldnt mind if the combinations we currently have lost steam would be

Gagne Briere Giroux
Hartnell Richards Lupul
Upshall Carter Knuble

I dont want to put Richards with just anyone, but any combination of Hartnell, Knuble, Lupul, Gagne, Upshall would work with him....

If Knuble is not with Gagne, I rather him not be on a top line...but with all the people in and out of the lineup you really dont have much choice at the moment.
