Trapped in the 70's and 80's. Jerseys. HELP!

While watching D'Agostini, I noticed he's wearing number 36, same number Sergio Momesso wore and while watching the game, it brought to mind how, to me, so much of my love for the habs is filtered through my growing up in the 70s and 80s and idolizing the habs, going to the forum, etc... So when I see jersey numbers, I can't help but think of the players I idolized back in the day and can't almost hardly believe all those jerseys haven't been retired...kidding..a little... I know it's nuts...But to me, as a kid, these guys were gods.
So when I see Kostopoulos wearing number 6, i see Guy Lapointe. Begin, is Steve Shutt. Komisarek is Doug Riseborough.. Dandenault's 25 will always be Jacques Lemaire (that's not retired?). Plekanec is Mario Tremblay. etc.. Hell, Carey Price is Mark Napier, Hamerlik is Stephan Richer and Kovelev is Rick Chartraw ( i know that one is really sad).

I can't help it. Damn..

I think Damphousse whenever I see #25. Even when other players from teams Vinny didn't even play on wear it. So yeah, when I just see the "Da" and 25 I immediately think Vinny came out of retirement, then I see the player going fast and know its not him

How about Gorges as Mats Naslund with his little #26? I think of Corson with #27...and Lucie Deblois. Halak is playing in Brent Gilchrist's shadow with #41. And, who can forget speedy Russ Courtnall in Kosto's #6. Ahh the memories.
