Cats Spotlight of the Night

Thats right, a medicine cabinet. The Canadiens are pretty banged up right now, missing regulars like Higgins, Koivu, Tanguay, and Price. We have to take advantage of the opportunity and hit them while they are down.

PB1300s OFFICIAL GAME DAY PREVIEW

Highlights from the last game. It was a game Im sure we all want to forget. Not only do we play like the visitors in our own building, but we lose in our own building. Like I said earlier, Montreal is plagued with the injury bug, and we have to take advantage of that. I hope for a carry-over from the Pittsburgh game, and show this original, "traditional hockey market" that the Cats are for real.

GO GO

AND BTW...LETS GO DOLPHINS!!!!!!!!!!LETS GO DOLPHINS!!!!!!!!!!LETS GO DOLPHINS!!!!!!!!!!LETS GO DOLPHINS!!!!!!!!!!LETS GO DOLPHINS!!!!!!!!!!

No poll...uh oh...you're courting disaster here, pb

I've just realized that there's only one real improvement for this team this year, although it's a good sign - they have been much more consistently hovering around .500 hockey all season. Usually they dig a big hole then claw back to .500.

It shows ultimately that the team is one impact player away from being a perennial playoff team. In addition to a burgeoning Frolik, that is. Now, ultimately Horton could be that player, but he's gotta mature first.

Anyway...hope for a win tonight. Wish I could get up to Bell Centre for it, but it's pricey and undoubtedly sold out (plus, I don't get out of work for another 1 1/2 hours, which would leave me about 30 minutes to drive the 120 miles to Montreal).

So all you'd have to do is drive about 250mph RaN (taking traffic into account) ..

Is NHL Center Ice free for the weekend on Dish Network? I turned it on, and I can see the Panthers-Canadiens game.

That Stillman-Weiss-Frolik line shows a lot of promise.

Montreal's powerplay is absolutely brutal this year. Good kill by the Panthers.

Brett McLean puts the Panthers up 1-0. That seemed like a weak goal.

Weiss is all over the ice right now solid first couple of shifts. Anyone else notice Bo's slightly more physical edge since bumping Kennedy into the net yesterday?

I'm not so sure about that yet. But that 4th line had a solid period.

It looks like we've got 4 decent line combos going right now. I like those top two lines. Frolik just adds an extra dynamic up front this team hasn't had in years past.

Good hard working play by Matthias and McLean to keep up the cycle and get that first goal. Just a bullet by McCabe on the 2nd one. 40 more minutes. They just need to keep playing their game and not let Montreal get their speed going.
