Modano is so much more effective when he just shoots the dang thing.

Nice game from Turco, eh game from the defense, nice game from the forwards.

Neal should stay in the shootout lineup for all time.

Now... we just have to win in regulation. But man that was come from behind all the way. In regulation, and then in the shootout. Whew.

Shootout goals count towards stats, correct? Where is Neal in rookie scoring? Gotta be up there.

Shootout goals are their own statistic for an individual, not towards the regulation goal total. The team that wins a shootout gets a goal for in the team column, team that loses gets a goal against. Nothing to the goalies though (other than a W-L in the shootout and a shootout save percentage).

If Neal doesn't get some kind of recognition come Calder voting (if he keeps it up) ill ****ing puke! This kid may not have all the points like Vertseeg and Berglund have but he is just as good as both of them.

Razorism?

He currently stands 9th not including his point tonight. With that point he moves into 8th! Neal is obliterating all rookies that are tops in scoring in Hits, Shots & PPG & Shooting%.

Interesting stat from a Stars fan's blog:

Sadly not. He's tied with Blake Wheeler at 13 in the rookie goal race. He's in 8th in points.

The over/under on Renner's age is 50. I'll take the under. I think he's in his upper 40s.
