I have about as much charm as a wet noodle. Thankfully I have a slightly better personality.

Korean, I agree with you on the chili. Sadly my neighbor and a couple cousins are on the whole vegetarian/vegan kick so I've had to expand my culinary menu. I'm fairly happy with the results to far.

It's in the "Who gives a ****" part of Oakland County. About 2 hours north of JLA and 30 minutes from the Palace. I'm closer to Flint than I am to Detroit. I live on a lake and have to navigate 10ft deep potholes in the dirt roads to get home. Winter is a unique challenge let me tell you.....

If you want the chowda recipe let me know. You need a dutch oven to make ideally. I love cooking and baking, do it almost every day. Just made raspberry scones for a little group meeting tomorrow night for the start of the semester. Hopefully I can resist eating them before 8:00pm.

Someone told me the other day they were a vegetarian as they were eating chicken breast in front of me. She really thinks she is a vegetarian because she doesn't eat beef and fish... weird.

Ah, that's what my sister said until I taught her how to do it. Cooking really isn't as hard as people think it is. Baking on the hand can be really tricky, but cooking is pretty easy.

The naming poll is up

Make your selections over the next 72 hours.

Pollmaster VooX

UPDATE:

I am pleased to officially designate this thread of topics that are off,

Datsyuk's Magic Show and Dangling Disco (with MC Rahmani)

so it has been decreed by those who yield the power of the radio button and mouse to vote on said name, as it is good.

I combined, in my own way, the great ideas of Zetsyuk and FissionFire with Houston Red Winger's twist. Thanks to all who voted, we are now on our way to 1000 more posts and another poll from the Democratic Nomenclature Society.

Democracy 1, Fascists 0.

Actually, the global warming fruitcakes now claim that colder winters are proof of global warming. So more cold = more warm? And these guys have PH.D's.....

The main problem with the global warming is that current weather patterns are breaking up.

So the fact that, in certain areas, it's both getting warmer (during the summer) and colder (during the winter) does actually make sense.

It's no more magic than the fact that clear skies in the summer makes it hotter and the same clear skies during the winter makes it colder.

Ever heard of global weather patterns?

Never noticed that clear skies makes it hotter during summer and colder during winter?

How odd.

You do understand the chemistry of water vapor, CO2, ozone, etc., on a planet that has this particular gravitational constant and distance from its star, right?

After reviewing that, we might spend some time on salt gradients and how increasing the fresh water content of the oceans could affect, or even reverse some currents that influence the climate of the entire planet..... as the [salt, or NaCl for the novices] is affected. Something about temperature and concentration come to mind, but I can't quite recall how they work together....

Once you hit gravity you left the realm of chemistry and entered the hell that is physics. You guys have fun figuring all that stuff out. I'll just invent the material to make a warmer jacket.

Ok, seriously. Somebody up high really likes laughing at humans. Remember how I said my parents were in Minnesota for a dog show and they went to the Wings/Wild game? I have a dog friend... She is a "What is hockey?" type person.. No clue. So after the game, she was walking the dogs for the night when a bunch of Wings players came out, ran over to pet the dogs... One came up, slung his arm over her shoulder and asked for her number. She doesn't even know who it is. She said he had shaggy hair, facial hair, and an accent. She is going to look at pictures and let me know.

How is this fair?? Honestly??

Emma's gonna be pissed. Z's gotta have a new groin injury soon, and not the good kind. Better get the ice packs ready.

Screw Emma! I'm wallowing in self pity and I need a tissue. *sniff sniff*

It's ok. When Emma hurts him, I'll nurse him back to health. He's really mine anyways.

My friend is good looking, but if you put her next to Emma, she looks like a trash collector...
