Good news, thought his career was done especially considering how long he's been out for.

Hope he can stay healthy.

He's been injured since February of 2007 with back spasms. He's had 2 surgeries, endless rehab, and numerous setbacks. Many Preds fans gave up on him, saying he'll never play another game.

I'm not expecting him to still produce a PPG, but just seeing him return should be a morale booster for this team. He's gotta be a lock for the Masterton trophy given all he's been through and all the hard work he's done.

Sullivan's a class guy, and here's hoping his back issues are behind him and he still can play at the NHL level!

Hope he can play the way he used to, but if not, he's still a great player.

That's great. I have always enjoyed watching Sullivan play and I admire his persistence in getting back. I hope he can get back to playing near the level he had been prior to the back injury.

great news, always liked Sullivan.

I couldn't believe that the Hawks traded him to Nashville a few seasons ago.

Go Sully! I've always been a fan of his as well. I thought the move the Predators made to acquire him originally was one of the shrewdest GM moves ever. It opened my eyes to how great a GM David Poile is.

Go Sully and go Preds. I always root for that team.

Was always sad when we traded him. But at least we got 1.5 years of Doug Gilmour out of it. The Leafs got Dmitri Khristich in the end and the Hawks were the beneficiaries, lol. When does Eric Daze come back???

Great news! He's always been one of my favourites since my dad got me his autographed rookie card through his wife's father (who worked with mine).

i am excited to hear this news. good job to sullivan for persevering. all accounts seemed to say that sullivans career was done for. im pulling for you. when nashville acquired sullivan he changed the dynamic of that team instantly. hope he can do the same again.
