What's going on in Dallas injury or even trade wise? Is it possible that Jancevski maybe be heading back to Dallas and perhaps Gainey was given the heads up that it might be a fairly permanent move for Dan.

If something like that was to happen, perhaps this makes this simple move make some sense.

You might be right. O'byrne might be packaged with someone else to obtain a top-four d-man who can play on PP... Zideckly ? Burns ?

I'm wondering why people think it might be the start for something else? Anybody here thinks that he's so much of an upgrade over other d-men we have? Just wondering how Mr. Kemp should be the keeper while we should start moving bodies around 'cause he's arrived...

Depth move for Hamilton.....I guess St-Denis might not cut it for Lever and he's on hiw way back to Cincy real soon.

He's just saving the Bulldogs. They're D is in trouble at the moment and their starter is Lacasse. Who says Gainey doesn't care about the success of the Dogs.

.......wants the Dogs to become the first team ever to have the defensive pairing of a JT and a TJ ??????

(Maybe just to screw with Derek)

Not if Jancevski and Carle are out for a while. IMO Anderson has his problems and I'm not as sold on Wyman for a long term solution. Has there been any official word on either of these guys?

We are a bit thin on D here in the Hammer. I was at the game on Saturday and Jancevski got hurt, he had some trouble putting weight on his leg and did not return for the rest of the 3rd period, he got injured with about 10 mins left.

Don't know what the deal is with Carle. Kemp will come in and do a decent job and provide some depth and help on the PP.

I suppose they mean that trading for Kemp allows other, better d-men (those with trade value to fetch something) to be traded while still having enough depth to keep Hamilton going. Not that Kemp would be better than them or a reason to move anyone.

And I have to admit that that option crossed my mind when I heard about this trade. But I agree that this is most likely just about adding a guy to the Bulldogs.

Our trade involved a CONDITIONAL 7th. Big difference depending on what the condition is. I assume is if he plays in the NHL. Pretty much nothing for nothing.
