I think the Washington commentators forget a certain incident in the 2006 preseason if I'm not mistaken.

It was a great defensive play, and I too had to do a double-take to see who it was.

They just showed some of the Richards/Ovechkin stuff earlier in the game. This is why I love that matchup. And I'd bet they do too.

puck looked like it was bouncing on Richards' shot in the slot...that would have been a goal if he could have settled it.

No? Because people who know the sport don't think everything is a penalty. Real fans know the sport enough to not boo everytime their players fall down.

This is why I love Keith Jones.

If you want to be the color guy but don't have any talent, you have two choices. Sound like a canadian mook hick (jones, dorny) or sound like a ridiculous cartoon character (this guy).

That's true yes, I was more referring to the bandwagon comment, because I lost track of how many times I've had to explain rules to people when I'm at games, some of which have been watching hockey longer than I've been alive.

Mine works fine except when other pages are loading, which is normal and understandable.

Sbisa really needs to beef up some, especially for playing forward on the forecheck, but I like how he tries to get revenge, but he needs more weight to throw a good hit.

caps announcer say what I was just thinking...we're being too cute in the O-zone...trying too many centering feeds from the half boards that aren't connecting.

It's one of the most infuriating parts of going to see games. At least at home I can be a smartass and not start any fights.

One of those times when you wish Knuble was just a little faster and did not turn over the puck.

I pretty much always wish Knuble was a little faster and didn't turn the puck over but I see what you mean.
