he said that he feels better every day, and hopes to start riding the bike\get on the ice by the end of the week. i'd say no less than 2 weeks, though.

Wow, triggerman, they must not be printing the stories on the web site in the paper. They seem to mention Hartnell being out every day in the notes.

Either that or I missed it, I haven't seen one update on his status until now, other than the game caps that list him as injured.

I've seen the Hartnell updates in the Tennessean regualry.

Honestly, I think the Nashville media for the Predators gets a lot of undeserved criticism. We have three papers that have Predators stories in them every day-- Tennessean, Daily News Journal, and City Paper. I think our newspaper coverage is on par with that of other NHL cities. The only difference I can see is where it is in the paper. The Preds usually don't get the main story in the Tennessean (but it's almost always atleast mentioned on the front page of the sports section).

I like the City Paper's the coverage the most of all 3 fish wrappers...but that is just my opinion

Hartnell said on his show he should be back for Saturdayís game vs Calgary.

I mostly have a problem with placement of stories in the paper. After the Penguin game, in which we had multiple records set, the story was at the bottom of the front page, under an article about McNair and a bonus he may or may not get. We didnít even get a picture on the front page. I understand the basketball tournaments going on were big news, but still. It happens like that all the time, we win and get a little picture, but when we lose, we get a huge color picture on the front page and top headlines. And I wish they would get all the scores in the paper, none of this ďgame was in progress at press timeĒ crap. They get all the late scores in the paper on the weekend, so why canít they do it during the week too? And why donít they put the entire boxscores in the paper everyday either? I like to look at the attendance of the games, but oh none of the boxes today had any attendance or officials or times.

What's funny is that I was in Southern California last week and the Preds get almost as much coverage in the LA Times as they do in the Titanssean. I could see the box score for every game we played no problems.
