Who will be the best NHLer?

I wanted to make this a poll...i guess you cant do that from the prospects forum....If u can, could someone please do that for me?.

Anyways, who out of these guys will make the best NHLer? I'm an Avs fan and I cant make up my mind on who i want this summer in the draft. And with a top 5 pick we will have a shot at one of these guys.

Matt Duchene
Evander Kane
Brayden Schenn
Magnus Svensson-Paajarvi

So...who will be the best NHL player?

Your guess is as good as anyone elses here.

My guess based on a couple viewings of Kane and one of Schenn combined with the little scouting tidbits and interviews i've heard involving actual NHL people is Duchene.

Your guess is as good as mine, but if I were given the choice to draft any one of these players, it would be between Duchene and Paajarvi.

Schenn was just voted as best pro prospect in the Eastern Conference by his peers and coaches in the Eastern conference, #2 was Boychuk and #3 was Eberle. pretty high compliment for an undreafted 17 year old.......

Kane has everything but the size. Once he bulks a bit he will be complete.

Kane - just starting to mature. Project out from where they are and it is Kane. Even, right now, he is as effective as the other two.

Great time to drafting in the 3 to 6 range.

Magnus Svensson-Paajarvi was over hyped by Swedish nationlists. The truth about him, is hes not even a top 3 pick as some Swedish fans toute him to be. Duchene easily.

You know what's really interesting about the voting here? It really looks as though the 3 Canadian players are getting votes by province.

Canada's population is split as follows;
Ontario 39%
BC 13%
Manitoba 3.6%

And the poll results
Duchene (Ontario) 42%
Kane (BC) 15%
Schenn 5%

What a conicidence, pretty cool I thought.......Pays to play in the media rich OHL

1. Duchene

He's got the speed for the NHL game, the stick handling, and a decent 2 way game. He is a player you'd want to build a franchise around. He isn't a Crosby or AO type talent but he has that Toews type of feel to him.

2. Kane

This kid can do it all. I love that he is very physical. He reminds me a lot of Iginla [hopefully he can have that kind of career] and seems to improve each year.

3. MSP

I am not high on MSP as others are. This might be a bit bias on my part choosing Kane over him. Not sure. But MSP has the speed and the scoring ability to turn into a complete player. I could see 30-30 in his first few seasons. My only knock against him is that he needs to improve his defensive game. I see a lot of Marion Gaborik in him.

4. Schenn

Schenn is just solid at both ends, fights/hits, and physical. I take Kane over him since Kane has higher offensive upside/potential but thats not a knock on Schenn in any way. He may have one of the most intangibles in the draft. Hopefully he can translate well into the NHL and be another Mike Richards.

Hey that is an interesting comparison, very though provoking. Can some of the Duchene watchers confirm the Toews comparison because if valid that gives us a real insight into Duchene's potential......

If everyone of them tap out at their top potential...those are the comparisions I've actually had down as well. Kane is going to get alot bigger. Duchene can play both ends of the ice, MPS...I hear conflicting stories alot, Schenn...probably the safest guy since he could end up as a third line plugger etc if he doesnt reach top potential.
