Houde lost his touch when Pedneault left. It seems like he's trying to help Brunet by analyzing the game, instead of sticking to his p-b-p job. He gets VERY annoying when the Habs are losing and describes the game with such pessimism that you'd think his dog died. He would be all like "Ah, encore une passe ratée de " or "Price qui jongle encore avec la rondelle". It's the "encore" part that is annoying, try to be optimistic when we're loosing, Pierre. We're all pissed off when we lose, don't get on our nerves. Stick to your p-b-p job and try to be neutral.

I live in Burlington and they play Bulldogs games every so often and he appears on them as the TV guy. It used to be every Friday if it was a home game, now i'm not sure what it is

I agree. That somber tone he sometimes speaks in when a Hab just makes a wrong decision or bad play is really irritating. It's like he's been given the worst news of his life and he doesn't know how to respond to it. Relax Pierre, it was only a giveaway.

I don't know. He's a great guy and is terrifically enthusiastic, but I worry about him having an aneurysm during the ceremonial faceoff for Timbits games between periods at Bulldogs' games. He could really really hurt himself if he did a Canadiens game. You'd have to install a defibrillator in the booth at the very least.
