God I can't wait for him to score another sweet shortie like the one he did against the Ducks last year.

As he's on a LTIR conditioning stint, he could actually be in the lineup against Vancouver.

I can see it now ... McLellan fumbling out of bed late at night, coming up with ways to utilize Mitchell's speed. All the thoughts going through his brain ... "well we could pair him with Patty on the first PK ... oooooorrrrrrr we keep Patty with Mikey, and play Mitchell with Milan. Yes! That's it! Wait, wait ..."

Anyways, it will be very nice to have him back ...

It appears Mitchell is not playing tonight...not really shocking if you think about it.

I'm not surprised. Back-to-backs for the first two back...nah. I am glad he is resting in between games. See how the leg holds up....not need to rush it at this point.

IS there a way to get highlights on this game?

Yeah...I'll post them when they're up. Probably early next week.

Presuming he's healthy (and I haven't heard a peep he isn't) he'll play tomorrow afternoon in Hershey.

I ask that all the time

It's not the WorSharks or AHL that puts the highlight packages together and uploads them, it's Neulion (I think that's how it's spelled). It takes them like 3-4 days it seems...

The AHL had a Norfolk player mic'd up for Friday's game.

No, it's frustrating to see players get called up and sent back down numerous times throughout the year. You feel good for them that they made it to the NHL, but it kind of screws over your AHL team. That's what you have to deal with being an AHL fan. More fights though and a lot of the games are played with more intensity than an NHL game.

It's just like any minor league sport, some good things and some bad...if it's what you had it would be what you watched.

Torrey injured his leg in the first period of the Hershey-Worcester game this afternoon lets hope it isn't serious.

They havent said which leg exactly yet however the way the commentator was talking it sounds like it very well is. He had trouble getting off the ice after going down awkwardly, has been out for the remainder of the game.
