Clapton still is, and always will be the ****ing man.

Well worth skipping game 7, especially considering the result.

Jeff Buckley is amazing.

I'm listening to a bootleg of Faith No More from Download fest this week. They sound just as good as ever. I'd be elated if they toured the US.

In light of the Game 7 result last night, I've been listening to as much angry pissed off stuff as I can find.

Let's go off the edge a bit. I love finding off the beaten path music (and I hope I'm not being the pretentious guy at Starbucks who says "This is what real music is about"). Here's some examples of my favorite stuff that hopefully somebody will like.

David Axelrod is one the best composers and producers in history. He's been sampled in rap and hip-hop extensively and deserves so much more credit than he gets.

My favorite instrument ever. Absolutely indescribable.

Another amazing composer, producer and all around musician. Out there, but still awesome.

I think it represents the YYYs satisfying their potential. Just a phenomenal album. Easily the best from a band I really like.

My ex turned me on to YYY. Kind of the only redeeming quality she had.
