Weber didn't want to knock out Kubina's stick but it happened. Bad break, but Halak whiffed. The shot was straight in IMO and at 2 mph. Gosh, we've got 14 goals in the last 2.15 games so far and he's been keeping each one of them, close with his goaltending. You HAVE to stop tht. Now Toronto has momentum and know he's a sieve. This is where our D gets nervous, knowing he is not Price's equal. With Carey, 3 or 4 goals does it.

But with Halak, we usually seem to need 5 or 6. If Halak wanted to prove he's worthy of being alternated with Price, he's failing. All we've discovered is that Halak is definitely the backup and we should lean on Price the way we did before his injury struggles. Because you just can't trust Jaro. When we don't score, he doesn't seem to win anyway, but when we pot the goals, he seems to lose focus. The guy will be lucky to ever get a shutout this season.

P.S. I did not see a deflection on the replays so I'm not going to go easy on Halak. I just don't have confidence when he's in net.

Well in fairness Brisebois has 2 assists already and Weber has a penalty that cost us a goal.

Habs look a little sloppy defensively so far. Toronto can put up some goals, so hopefully they haven't taken the Leafs toooo lightly.

Leafs either cannot skate on Bell Centre ice or are trying their best to dive and get tripping calls...
