Uhhh yyeahhhhhh....did you happen to watch last night's game at all?

As wacky as this proposal already is, you should know that both Gizmo and Divot-Head Kostitsyn are Public Enemies #1 and #2 for the Leafs (well Grabovski anyways) and thus will be a dealbreaker in any proposal.

Thank You.

Subban will not be a franchise player. I love how guys get overhype because of the world juniors. Get a clue.

Agreed.

What just because he's the joker of Team Canada that automatically increases his value somehow???

Yeah, you can keep Subban and his patented "subbie-doo" as it will be fun watching Leaf forwards for many years burn him at every opportunity whenever he pulls that silly move off.

Agreed. He should be a useful player but isn't likely to be anywhere near the defenseman Kaberle is capable of being.

Higgins and a 1st for Kaberle would be a steal for Montreal. If the pick was going to be a top 10 pick it would be a little fairer.

People think that Leaf fans are bad for over rating their players. Habs fans are just as bad. I once heard a habs fan say this for an offer(Not on the boards but in person).

To Mtl:

Jason Spezza

To Ott:

Kyle Chipchura
Jaroslav Halak

You keep your players, we'll keep ours. Let's see who comes up on top...

Just a little correction for ya sparky. It goes "Let's see who comes OUT on top" Besides that what are you even talking about. Yes you guys will finish higher then us in the standings. Great. Did anyone in hockey expect something different? We are rebuilding which means we Want to finish near the bottom. So both of our teams are achieving their respective goals for the season. Oh and I'll gladly keep Kaberle over Subban any time. Enjoy your overated prospect.

You keep on correcting grammar there, sparky, while my team is playing hockey this Spring.

I'm sorry. What did we give up for him....oh, that's right nothing. It was a conditional 6th. If Toronto doesn't resign him by Jul1st than it's nothing that Anahiem will recieve. Brad May was just brought in for the youth. I had no problem with that trade. Hmm, something for nothing.....

Not with that attitude. Toskala's been geting a little better recently, we should break his groin again and then go wth Cujo, and god help him if he wins a game we shoot him.

Really it was a trade for both teams, Anaheim gets a little wiggle room for free and we get a player with "toughness" I never liked May and still don't but he'll fill a role on the team and hey it's not like he'll win games for us, thuswe lose, thus better pick.

it's rare to see a trade that is actually bad for both teams

The only way Burke makes that deal is if the woman in your avatar asks him really really nicely late at night - you see where I'm going with this? LOL.

In your dreams .This trade benefits the Leafs only.A major steal for the leafs. The only think comming back to the Habs that has any value is the 1st rd pick.Finger who's bad with a bad contract and antropov is well we all know what he is.
