Yes. A little disappointing that the highest scoring defenseman in the league (PPG wise) is sitting at home...maybe he was snubbed because of his injury or because of Mr. 3 points Komisarek, who knows.
Anyway, to avoid sounding completely whiny...it's kinda neat that Streit made it.
Considering the ridiculous "at least one player from each team" rule, the eastern team looked pretty decent actually. Except for Komisarek and Kovalev of course. But the western team player choices looked worse.
Don’t get how people can complain if they don’t care to vote enough. It’s like people complaining about the government even though they never bothered voting.
Pittsburgh fans managed to have all the Pens players on the verge of surpassing the Montreal players in voting. If they can do it, so can you. Otherwise stop crying.
Every fan base should sit down and cheat with scripts you mean? And dedicate their whole lives to voting during a short span of time? It doesn't make certain players more deserving just because they've been scripted into a lineup.
All things considered, better selections than the West. With the starters named as they were, and the whole "every team" thing, there was pretty much no chance for Semin/Elias/Kessel without leaving out Savard (which would be a mistake), and no chance for Green without leaving out Chara (another mistake). It's not like the West where Tkachuk and Modano are better than Boyes and Richards/Ribeiro.
If Kovalev and Komisarek weren't voted in, then we'd have Green and Elias in. Really the only problem with the team if you have to have a rep from every squad.
