Pretty classy move by the fans there.

He isn't near game shape.

Knowledgeable hockey fans understand.

Do the Canucks ever need a Kaberle for the puck movement.

It's really weird seeing Sundin not being the best player on his line.

(Looks around for all the Mats haters in this thread from yesterday)

Anybody know where they are?

Hmmn, they're here when they think he's failing, yet no where to be found today.

How typical.

Funny, that comment was made, oh not even 24 hours ago.

We could throw this in their face, but we got too much class than that.

Though we know they wouldn't hesitate for a second to bash Mats if/when they could.

Sundin's first goal

Are you like me and having a hard time watching Sundin. He did evrything this year that he said he wouldn't do last year e.g.( didn't want to be a rental player). Trust me, i was one of the few people who said we should have traded him years ago. Seeing him in another uniform wouldn't have bothered me if he didn't pull off what he did last year.

Yep, he's been okay.

Edler just isn't ready for this responsibility, he holds his stick too tightly.

O'Brien gets way too much ice time.

Does a fully up to speed Mats vault Vancouver to third in the West? Forgetting the standings for the moment, third best team in the West on paper?

Sure you do.

Reason why I remember that post so well cause I remember laughing out loud when I read it.

You were responding to someone saying Sundin couldn't do crossovers, and you were like: Even I could do crossovers on dull skates and with a beer in my left hand while playing only twice a year or something to that effect.

Pretty funny at the time!

Hey, thanx for posting that!

So nice to see, after all the booing that was heard the past little while, this is a nice welcome change to see all the cheering and the support.

I mean, even Ron MacLean made a comment about it on HNIC, all the sports channels and their sites were constantly talking about it. This should put a lot of that to rest.

Good for Mats.

Late to the party, but hell of a shot by Mats.

Cory Schneider as part of a package could work for me. No room with Luongo entrenched in nets there, and not like this team is neck deep in goalies. Pogge/Schneider would be a great combo.

Their back end is brutal on trying to move the puck.

I've watched their last 3 games and I think their defenders pass as much to the other team as they do to their own.

And just after I keyed that, the defenders give away the puck and the Sharks score.

Canucks only need to make one move and I think they'd be contenders.

Man oh man do the Nucks need Luongo back in net

Sanford is brutal tonight

I think once Mats gets into real game shape that number 1 PP could be terrific for them

Just putting Luongo back in nets is enough to get them buy in any playoff series if he gets really hot. However, getting another strong offensive defenseman would surely help. And if I were them I would pick Kubina over Kaberle.

Hahaha, I'm watching a recap of the game tonight and the crowd just went nuts when he scored. Great to see... welcome back Mats.
