Yes we do. We win that game with luongo in nets plus many other games since he's been injured. Also, I'll look past sundin being in the box for the last two gwg, cause he's not known to take a lot of penalties right? The canucks are already one of the most penalized teams in the league, and that's something mats should not be trying to fit in the team with.

penalties are just due to the fact that he's not quite in sync with the pace of the game yet. he does look very physically strong, though.

Good goal.. boy does the Vancouver arena announcer suck tho.

Nothing compared to the Toronto one when Sundin would score.

His getting ready to play, cost the Canucks the game yesterday, as he took a foolish slashing penalty that lead to the winning goal against in the final minutes of the game. The fact he took half the season off holidaying and playing poker and relaxing rather then playing isn't really a factor to excuse poor play that is detrimental to new team..

Brad May took a dumb penalty that cost the Leafs in his home debut a goal, and you were quick to point it out, and criticize him for it rather then suggest patience need to be taken because he is new here.
I can't believe I'm reading that.

The game against the Blues on Friday was one of our worst outings of the season. You can't blame what happened on one penalty. We were going to lose regardless the way we were playing.

Unbelievable.

Yeah, tell me about it, Andy Frost ( ) is excellent at announcing goals.

wow, the way the Vancouver PA announced Sundin's goal, it sounded like the road team's goal was being announced, no energy into it whats so ever.

Andy Frost also does LeafsTalk on AM640, after every game.

The TV play by play guy said at the end of the 1st....

"1-1, Rob Blake for the San Jose Sharks and Mats Sundin for the Vancouver Cauncks, sounds different doesn't it?"

Yes it does sound very different.

I love how Sundin scores one PP goal and now he's the messiah reborn...

Just a few days ago he was being torn to shreds by the same fans

Short attention spans are common in here.

Where is the sarcasm, BTW?

one of the WORST call in shows in history... or best, I'm still deciding, every crazy in Toronto calls in and gives the most asinine uneducated opinions on hockey...

"Like, what if we trade Steen while his values high, for a guy like Joe Thornton, like, Steen straight up for Thornton and a few first rounders or something, what? we traded Steen... hey Andy, do you think we could trade like, Cujo for Stamkos? Tampa needs a goalie!"

Vancouver double shifting Sundin in the third. They are down 4-0 with Luongo in net.

Luongo has let in some real stinkers.

Next few games are crucial for the 'Nucks.

They certainly miss Salo, and O'Brien shouldn't be getting 15 minutes a game. He's constantly taking minors. Edler isn't playing as well as he needs to, but they just don't have the depth.

Wellwood out tonight, and Hansen back in ... being showcased?

Luongo never gave the team a chance to win tonight.

First game since November.

I'm not sure, but I'm starting to think that most of those callers are just trolling in real life.

sundin is starting to look pretty good with demitra... together they make very few mistakes.

cannot say the same for edler and mitchel.. behind their net the canucks give the puck away more then any team i can think of....

note: not all the nucks d men, just those 2.

Mitchell is a mess in his own zone with the puck.

I think he's okay without it, but give him the puck and he's garbage.

Sure, keep on making Mats seem like a greedy selfish ******* if it helps you sleep better at night.
