So, to the people who've been able to watch, anyone come out of it thinking the Bruins are much better than the Habs?
Just asking, because from what I've seen and read, it certainly didn't sound that way.
It happens, it didn't put the Bruins out of reach, there's still a good chance Tim Thomas comes down a bit from his incredible high, and from what I gather, it was a game that was going to be decided by a mistake and it was Chris Lee who did it.
It's unbelievable how a tiny goalie who break-dance in his net can recover so quickly to make an incredible save. This guy must be elastic man. Never seen that much flexibility and speed in a goalie, ever. He's also extremely lucky.
This is how we'll be dismantled come playoffs. You just saw a small preview.
I think it's pretty clear that it's a lot about Julien than the players....they were without some nice players tonight and still the guys that they called up are just playing the same in your face game.
Let them celebrate...geez it's not like they are going to win the cup or anything.
I just don't see Thomas doing this in the playoffs. Maybe regular season but in a 7 game series, this guy won't come through. Just his unorthadox style.
Either way, Habs played a better game than the B's but their goalie stole it for them on this night (5 on 3 was also a gift). We have way more key injuries than the B's and still took it to them for the majority of the game.
