McGinn injured in Worcester

It happened behind the play so I'm not certain what happened...he was on all fours behind the Hershey net keeping his right leg off the ice.

He had to be helped up and off the ice, and couldn't put any weight on it was he went down the tunnel toward the locker room.

The game was an absolute blow out (they lost 7-2), so he could have just gotten a stinger or something and there would be no way to know as there wasn't any chance they'd put him back out there.

Good idea to be cautious about it, that is for sure.

He was going into the corner with a Bear player and turned has back on him and the got locked up and never really could brace himself.

I was hoping to catch it on the replay, but, well, you know...

Oh no, this is pretty much what ended Bernier being a big part of the sharks plans.

Hopefully McGinn won't be out or that long.

Jamie McGinn suffered a “lower body injury” during the game and did not return. Initial reports are that it may not be as serious as it looked
