Caps win, Bruce goes to the All-star game.

Montreal wins, Bruce doesn't go to All-star game.

Caps need to get back in the game. Last night was an off-nigh. Just get back to playing Caps hockey.

4-2 Caps. Just ****ing win.

This should be a better game...Montreal isn't as annoying as CBJ to play, so this should be a shootout...which is good for Washington.

Caps play the second of two in a row with travel against a rested home team on a hot streak. L

Lets just hope that this isn't the start of a little skid. They have the Oilers and Pens on back to back nights next week, but the Pens play the night before as well. So they should/could win both. Tonight is a long shot.

Their one chance to win is the desire to get the bad taste out of their mouths from last night, yuck.

stupid Fedorov.

next time when you think you feel 100%, add an extra month of rehabbing before thinking you can return.

If caps win, Boudy gets to assist in the All-stars.

If montreal wins, whoever the french canadians coach will be the assistant.

THIS IS A HUGE GAME FOR BOTH TEAMS!

Isn't it always the opposite of what we think? Last night we thought everything was in the Caps favor. What happened? We lost.

Tonite everything looks to be in Montreal's favor. What will happen? Hopefully the boys get a win.

I highly doubt the players, or coaches care that much about the all-star game.

The only reason it matters is because it's the perfect chance to stick it to all those Habs fans in person/on their own ice. Maybe that means something, maybe not.

not at all. last night was the perfect trap game and many here commented on that. after beating the flyers and before montreal against a western conference also ran on injuries.

i hope tonight is two points, but they will have to score early and hold on.

I think the boys will give a more spirited effort than they did last night. Hopefully Green, Backstrom and Semin make the Habs fans pay for their indiscretions .

Add the game before that and it's only 3 goals in 3 games...not very good.

Boudreau said he planned to give Feds the game off after his first game back, so I'm not quite sure why you're angry at him...
And all it means is that Nylander gets inserted back into the lineup. Hopefully the view from the press box last night will ignite his game.

I really want Green, Semin and Backstrom to have a monster night against the Habs "All-Star defense". What a crock. Go Caps!

"Fedorov, Boudreau said, had been scheduled to take tonight off, though "he didn't feel great" after skating 15:55 in his return from a long layoff last night against Columbus. Jeff Schultz (finger) also did not travel."

meh, whatever they can win without him anyways.

We're hosed.

I think they've been playing above themselves for a while and they are cooling off.

Meh. By my count the Caps are 8-6-2 with him in the lineup and 19-6-1 without him.
