not real excited about this one.

Caps need a big performance from Semin and Ovechkin or we lose IMO.

You'd think the Caps are due for some offense after the last few low-scoring games.

they've skated through the past few games and have been lucky to get the two points. I'll be ecstatic if they come out with the energy they need to show in the playoffs instead of this midseason "surviving on talent alone" type attitude.

I agree, in a way its good they arent killing themselves like they did last year to make the playoffs, but you dont want them to go into the playoffs that way and spend the first 2 or so games to get it out of their system

I agree. They've haven't been working hard, and sticking to the system. Maybe we need to get Herb Brooks in here.

Its the song they play at the end of the HNIC pregame show. Playing right now in fact.

I prefer Elton John but that just makes me old.

No it doesn't, his version is just better.

Its a stupid luxury worry for me but I'm sort of concerned that they have such an easy schedule and perhaps the SE locked as the season draws to an end that they start slow in the playoffs.

Then again we had to play 'playoff' energy hockey at the end of last season, started game one of the playoffs like madmen, then fell short... so who knows.

Johnson to start.

Side note: I just remembered a time when I got super drunk in college and told me friends I was a fan of the Washington "Galapitals."

Go Galapitals!
