I wonder if Modano will run the point for the Western All-Star team?

Quick, someone say they should have played Stephan in the shootout.

Well, Neal and Ribeiro are awesome at least.

I don't see any way this is a playoff team.

1 point is still better than 0 but overall the game was quite boring unfortunately.

Turco used to be great in the shootout, but that has obviously slipped too along with the rest of his game. I think it corresponds to his ever-growing bald spot.

*snerk*

It would be nice if all portions of this team could show up at the same time.

Turco just seems to over commit a lot now. I feel like half the time he makes a save he tries to do it by a cartwheel/tumble maneuver while flailing his limbs in every direction hoping for the best. On the positive side, the few times that he does make a save like this, it looks pretty cool and acrobatic though. Too bad style points and highlight saves don't compute into GAA.

This is the oddest way to get a shutout. Turco has at least one shutout since he broke into the league... His streak (if you can call it a streak) is still alive.

And all this time I thought this was the season where I would see a "0" on his shutout column for 08/09.

Actually since we lost I don't think it counts as a shutout in the stats. Had we won it obviously would have, but don't be surprised if you check tomorrow and it's still a 0.

Nope, both goalies get one in cases such as this.

I would rather see us lose like that than 6-1! Turco was good tonight. His rebound control and stick handling was better but Robidas needs to be benched IMO. His constant lack of responsibility by taking penalty after penalty is killing us.

LOL. Sorry but doesn't that just seem the way this season has gone for Marty Turco.

Gets a shut out but still loses.

O this season sucks. Big time.

Benched? Are you kidding me?

One of those penalties was lack of focus off the faceoff, the other was a last ditch attempt to foil a partial breakaway.

The Stars are now 2-7 without Brunnstrom in the lineup.

Well if Robidas didn't stop skating like in the Detroit game he wouldn't have had to stop the partial breakaway. I'm not sure what it is the last two games he's stopped skating a lot and he's getting burned by it. Tt either causes him to take penalties or if he doesn't it causes scoring chances.

I'm glad I didn't watch this game.

This isn't a playoff team. What can we get for Lehtinen?

Maybe a prospect but Lehts has a NTC so I doubt he would want to leave. Zubov would be better trade bait... if only he were still healthy.

His play over the last couple games has been worse than Sydor. Lets see how many times we can put the opposing team on the PP. I love Robidas but even Razor mentioned that Robidas is taking far to many penalties on a team with defensive issues. He has 14 minutes of penalties in the last 5 games. That is nearly 3 penalties a game.
