Well, that's something unexpected. Don't hear often players moving on to my country.

Sorry no dice. Driving distance between Dornbirn and Sankt Veit an der Glan which is where I live is about 560 kilometers. Also, I'm a KAC fan (Klagenfurter Athletiksport-Club) who play in Klagenfurt, the city of my University and about 20 km from my hometown.

Just for anybody interested, those two teams are not even playing in the same league. KAC plays in and currently leads the Erste Bank Eishockey Liga (Erste Bank is the name of the sponsor), which is the highest "class" in austrian hockey and a joined league and also hosts two teams from Slovenia and an hungarian team.

EC Dornbirn (who also call themselves Bulldogs) play in the Nationalliga (National League), which is the tier below the EBEL and only has austrian teams. If I'm not entirely mistaken, winning the Nationalliga gives you an option to join the EBEL, but you may refuse because of the higher costs. Dornbirn won the title last season.

While this is sarcastic, this next line IMO perfectly explains just how deep of a loss this is to the Flyers organization.

Who is Freddy Cabana?

Weren't people complaining about how he didn't get a shot? Actually I think he did get into some pre-season games, but I guess no one else was convinced, including decent European leagues.

So, it is pretty safe to say that you love the KAC?

I know what "Friends with Benefits" means, but I have no clue what KAC is supposed to stand for in that context.

Since he live in Austria, I will give him the benefit of the doubt for not just saying KAC out loud when reading the sentence.

"He just loves the K A C" is not as funny as "He just loves the kac."

Your the only one not getting it. It's a joke. And it is funny.

I kinda picture someone with one of those really annoying NY accents saying it too.

Like the Sham-woo guy. I feel like everything that guy says should end with, "you stupid d*****". This sham-woo is awesome, you stupid d*****. Buy one, you stupid d*****.

He loves the caulk (KAC), you stupid d*****.

LOL.
