So can Blake Wheeler.

That trade makes the Bruins worse for the present and future.

I would believe that Zach Bogosian would be one of the untouchables for Atlanta. Since you did not list him as an untouchable, do you believe Atlanta would trade him? If the answer is yes, I will come back with an offer right after I watch the two hour premiere of 24. beep...blup...beep...blup.

If he didn't have an NTC he would definitely garner a 1st given what he has accomplished in the playoffs. Maybe even more.

I can't see Kozlov being dealt this year to be honest. Waddell probably plans on contending for a playoff spot next season and Kozlov is a big part of the ATL offense.

As for guys who might be dealt

Williams - His play has been terrible. I'd take almost anything for him.
Perrin - He is a decenter PKer, Cheap, and has solid offensive skills. I can see someone offering a late pick for him
Havelid - He is a very good d-man. The perfect piece you'd add to a playoff bound team.
Schneider - I can definitely see some low tier playoff team taking a chance on him. He sucks Atlanta because he is being expected to carry the defense. We all know he is nothing more than a complementary player. If he is used right then he can be effective.
Reasoner - Teams will want him. He is a great PKer/Fourth liner.
Lehtonen - Another guy teams will be interested. Young goalie who has shown flashes of brilliance. We likely won't get a first because of his injury problems but who knows?

I'm not sure why people are surprised. Teams don't put their good young players on the block. God knows we need them.

Are you saying that Detroit should give Perrin a look just because hes a good PKer? On a team with two Selke winners, a Selke nominee, and 5 other forwards who would be among any teams top 4 PKing forwards, you honestly think Perrin is going to wow Detroit?

What would Havelid cost? What's his cap hit?

You keep using that word. I do not think it means what you think it means.

(note to those who don't quite follow: The word in question is "firesale".)
