Is it too homer-nit-picky for me to get mad for him mispronouncing Jere Lehtinen? Though in his defense, it's not like Lehtinen is an award winning forward or anything...

Niskanen is shooting more. That's at least a good sign.

Early starts never do well in Dallas. Sheesh, that place looks empty, and that won't play well with those who whine about hockey south of Missouri (heck, hockey south of Chicago), but that's what they get for starting the game a 7 p.m.

Grossman doesn't seem to throw his body around (enough), but when he does...

Anyone would be hard pressed to say that hockey hasn't done well in Dallas

it's been a good start. I love Grossman when he decides to take someone out - he does it as well as anyone

Grossman has been all over it tonight.

Oh Turco, you get away with that nine times out of 10, but they will nail you for it once in a while.

Still, who got caught up to give the Wings a 2-on-1? Did they not learn any lesson from last time?

Has Fistric remembered how to play hockey yet?

If so, I'd welcome him back up here. If he's still playing like he was at the beginning of the season, however, he can stay right where he is.

Stars can't buy a face-off win when they play Detroit.

Granted, neither can any other team when they play Detroit, but I don't care about the other teams.
