Miroslav Satan as good as gone

Newest article suggests tonight's game vs St. Louis is Miro's last for Buffalo

Thanks for the goals over the years!

Sabres are only 6 pts behind the Isles(an awful road team, about to start a 5 game roadtrip).

How can Sabres ownership justify trading Satan right now?

How does one justify some lackey employed by the Sabres creating a PaintShop Pro image of Kovalev in a Sabres uniform, saying Satan had been traded away on February 24th?

The Sabres organization lacks class, dignity, integrity, you name it......they haven't had any class since the Knox family gave up ownership in the late 90s.

i can't believe that with the sabres only 6 points behind a floundering isles team with a game in hand that they would deal satan. the way things are going for the isles, i REALLY like the sabres' odds of taking that number 8 spot.

I believe he was calling his agent saying "Can I stop making the Leafs look bad now, is anyone interested?"

God last night was embarassing. lol

Satan to Dallas.

and New Jersey's gotta make a pitch...Satan could captain the Devils, it'd be so funny.

Would I ever love to see Miro in a Canucks uniform, he'd fit in awesome alongside the Sedins. However, its unreasonable becuase Burke would never agree to give up what is necessary to get a guy like Satan. Oh well. He'll probably end up in Detroit or something like that.

Good D-man prospect?

How about Hainsey and Hossa and maybe a 2nd round pick for Satan?

Hainsey and Hossa are tearing it up lately.

If he is, I want Cooke and Allen.

I personally think that this could be just the Sabres toying a little with Miro to try and get more out of him this weekend. A win today puts them 4 points back.

However if he is traded, a western conference team would help so he can't come back to hurt us next season, like most Sabres do. I wonder if San Jose has made a stronger pitch for him now that Sturm is gone. If they have, I'd love to have Doug Murray and one of Jon DiSalvatore or Ryane Clowe.

Good luck. Contending teams don't trade good, young roster players at the deadline, that rarely happens unless were talking about a deal for a players such as Rob Blake or someone of that calibre. If the Sabres trade Satan to a playoff bound team, the most likely scenario, picks/prospects are likely the return they'll get. No team, espcially the Canucks, is going to trade two, young, important players for Satan. Not going to happen, espcially at Satan's salary. I'd be surprised if there are more then 5 teams with any interest in acquiring Satan at his salary.
