How come we only retire numbers when we play Atlanta?

Go Rangers!

Graves night should be awesome we always seem to pull these nights off in a way only new york can. Pretty big two points on the line as well, this is a must win type of game IMO.

LET'S GO RANGERS!

seriously guys, don't blow it on Graves night!
I really hope they dont dissapoint and win BIG tonight. Win like they havent won before this season..That means like 5-1, 6-2,etc . please no more 2-1 games against crappy teams

I hope AA can pot one as well. that would be awesome!

Thanks for everything Adam!

Let's hear it for Arty!!

Great GDT LoFFen.

Can we just put Leetch, Messier and Graves in the game, might as well since they're all there lol.

Aside fro a W i am really going to look at AA in this one. I think him and Lauri could make something happen.

That Voros is playing on this line confuses me quit a bit since i believe that Prucha would have been a better fit for Lauri and AA.

Two speedy wingers together with AA ability to drive the net, would have been nice.

LGR!!

Thank you

maybe because those are easy wins and who doesn't want his jersey retired with a rangers win?

with that said, this is probably gonna be a blowout 5-0 atlanta...

ususlly don't get on here before work - but today is a special one.

first time I remember a player getting the # retired for largely more what he has done as a person than a player. Adam certainly was great on the ice - especially 94 when it was biggest - but the guy is truly an exemplar of class.

well deserved - im sure there wont be a dry eye in the house tonight - especially mark messier - ha

Thank you Adam Graves...should be a fun night, not nearly the ceremony that Messier, Leetch or Richter had, but a good one nonetheless.

Lets hope Anisimov actually plays.

Hi all. First post. Been reading the Rangers' board since the playoff loss to Buf. a couple of years back. Decided to join recently.

I like AA getting the chance. Dubi should be between Dru and Zher. Pru should be in for Voros, but I can see a need for V with the new call up. I don't think Voros has the legs to finish the season.

LGR

p.s. I hope there isn't a whole hour of crying!

Clearly you haven't met mark messier in any sort of emotional situation

I'd like to see an inspired effort from the team,an effort worthy of the man being honored tonight.

This is a bad Atlanta team, treat them like it.None of this playing down to their level this Ranger team is great for, go out there and beat the snot out of them for sixty minutes.

Congrats to Graves and his family. Not a Ranger fan (Isls!!!) but always an admirer of his play and even more so all the good he has done off the ice. As good as he was I always felt he was underated. I would have loved seeing him on the Island. A class gentleman who deserves the honor. l'll be watching because honoring a guy like this goes beyond Ranger or Islander hating...enjoy!

One of my all-time favorite Rangers. Fortunate enough to meet him once and I don't think I've ever met a nicer guy. So courteous and gracious, a true professional and great person.

Congrats Gravey, you deserve it!

LGR!

Thanks for everything, Gravy!! I can't wait to get to the Garden tonight to see my favorite Ranger ever have his number retired and also to watch Anisimov's debut. I called it to a friend yesterday that he would get his first NHL goal from Nicky and Dubie at 3:09 of the 2nd lol but I'm scaling my expectations back down since he's with Voros. Just play a smart game, Artem

I'll be there, Sec. 313

Dubes - Drury - Zherdev could be a sexsi line

Hope AA plays the same game he's been playing in Hartford as well

LGR!

My hero as a kid, and still to this day look to his example for living.

About to make the 4 plus hour drive to the game, hope the snow isn't bad.
