But most peanut butter sold in jars at supermarkets appears to be safe, Sundlof said.

"As of now, there is no indication that the major national name-brand jars of peanut butter sold in retails stores are linked to the recall," Sundlof told reporters in a conference call.

Officials are focusing on peanut paste, as well as peanut butter, produced at a Blakely, Ga., facility owned by Peanut Corp. of America. Its peanut butter is not sold directly to consumers but distributed to institutions and food companies. But the peanut paste, made from roasted peanuts, is an ingredient in cookies, cakes and other products that people buy in the supermarket.
I think Jake's going to get his sandwich all the same.

Tomorrow, during the Penguins-Rangers game and the NFL conference championships, I am going to cook breaded boneless chicken marinated in Buffalo Wild Wings' Sweet BBQ sauce, then also throw some macaroni and cheese in on the side and a couple of other veggies.

It all seems simple, but for a novice cooker like me, the multi-tasking of it all, it's going to make for an interesting day in the household.

I wonder what the over/under on asking my fiancee for assistance is going to be.

Damn, sounds good.
I do the cooking around the house myself, so let me give you a little tip.
Organize each individual process, and clean up as you go. Keeping the clutter to a minimum will make the multi-tasking much less overwhelming and you won't have a monster pile of dishes waiting on you after the meal.
Good luck, and enjoy!

When my fiancee and I are done with a dish, in the dishwasher it goes. Then all we have to do is throw in the dish detergent and it's good to go.

We also wash the pots and pans separately as the dishwasher starts up, and then all we have to do later is put away the dried dishes in the dishwasher.

The messiest part, however, is marinating the chicken in the Sweet BBQ. The stuff can be messy, but man that sauce is gooooooood!

Click on "User CP" at the upper left of the page, and then under the "Your Profile" header in the lefthand column, click on "Edit Your Details".

Just a random thought: For some reason I thought our fellow Jacket fan Optimus Moo was a woman.

I don't know why, and I've had no real reason to believe this to be true.

Sorry, Moo. How can I make it up to ya?

The chicken turned out okay. The breading didn't mesh with the Sweet BBQ sauce, so next time we will look into other ideas, but still, the chicken was moist and had the flavor of the sauce. We made a lot of food today, though, so we have leftovers for tomorrow's lunch and dinner -- and that's way cheaper than if we eat fast food for all our meals.

Cooking at home really does save money. Hopefully we can do it more often, especially as I learn to cook more.

That we are lazy on. It gets thrown in the wash, then thrown in the dryer eventually, then taken out and folded eventually. We don't speed through it.

And cleaning the house... she needs to do that, bad! All this clutter drives me nuts. I don't have OCD when it comes to cleanliness, but at the same time, she can't take five minutes to pitch the junk mail or throw a Pepsi can in the recycling bin? It drives me insane!

Is it because I cooked and cleaned today and discussed it in here? Or the joking comments about me wanting to have Steve Mason's children?

Trust me, I'm pure red-blooded male. You must have missed the posts where I wanted to totally bang the Progressive insurance chick, Flo, or some of the other sexual innuendo I've done in the past.

About the only thing left for me to do is to go Cosmo Kramer and/or George Costanza and find out if my boys can swim -- and I'm going to enjoy my upcoming marriage for a while first before I let her bring the idea of being parents into the picture.

For any who were wondering Mrs. AG and I are back from the Cruise last week and not liking the weather I returned to Will try to get a picture or two posted soon. Weather was great for most of the cruise and Mrs. AG and I had a blast. Will probably wait until we get the pics developed from the snorkling before I post. We snorkled over a 6000 ft drop off and it was a very cool view. The party thrown by the crew for the snorkling was one to remember also (wish I could remember more of it but there are pictures to try to reconnect the parts lost to the free rum runners )

Hey everyone, I have a question to ask on behalf of my sister. She is currently a student at OSU and lives in apartments about a mile from campus. She is in need of some type of internet service and I was wondering if any of you can recommend something that might be affordable for a college student. She told me that her laptop sees several secure wireless connections, so I told her to track some of those people down and get to know them. Anyway thanks in advance for any tips!
