the sad thing is that we all *know* the refs dictate the game...we hope they let 'em play. sad. but true.

You'er right, I didn't. But I'm sure it involves that Jordan guy getting all the calls like he did his entire career.

the probability of them scoring on 6 consecutive penalties is really really high, so it has to be a combination of us being good and them being bad

How is Staal progressing as a dman? Do you guys miss Tyutin?

He's so good, the Refs made sure to kick him out of the game.

that was crazy... amazing they didnt give any up.

If the PP had just a thimble full of the PKs mojo this team could be a serious contender

Anyone catch Perry yabbering that the PK was just like scoring a goal...

Maybe a tweak to that philosophy might up the PP results Mmmm

Actually MJ was retired and Bulls would have won the series and rolled to our 4th title if not for the phantom call against Pippen!

#2, but exactly. The Hawks PP is in the top 6 I believe in the league. The Hawks are ridiculous normally on the PP, but your PK and ridiculous goalie saved it. It could easily be 4-1 right now thanks to the refs if your PK and King Henry weren't amazing.

Staal with the 10 min?? I thought it was Redden, thats what Sam and Joe were saying.

Hope we see Danny G back out there in the 3rd. Was a real nice hit he made.

Great PKing, but the parade has got to stop. Agree with Joe thou, some weak calls.

What does that have to do with the Refs cutting the BS and letting two good teams play. Our pp sucks too but it's not the point. Staal obviously gets tripped up and nothing was called. He should have showed some discipline but in a way I like it. He a competitor. So fine give him the penalty but the trip should have been called as well.

Drury had a very good period.

Come on get a goal early and dictate the play.

Gomez is great with John G. but I'd like to see John with Avery.

They cannot go to break during a Power play, and since all those penalties came during the actual power play, they could never go to commerical break.

You could tell Gomez just wanted to rip into the refs right there. Good thing he didn't, he could have gotten a 6 game suspension.

its not the Hawks fault that the refs suck, they just take what they're given.
