Best Bar in SJ to watch the Sharks?

Pretty simple Q! Preferably downtown!

Thanks

The Brit is pretty solid, plus La Vic is close to it. I usually only go downtown when I go to the games otherwise I am at the Los Gatos Brewing Company when I go out to watch a game (good beer and good food). I suppose watching them at Hooters in Campbell could be nice, adds an element most other bars won't (I mean the GREAT food, gosh)

Is the Brit in SJ crowded during games and can you actually HEAR the game?

Hah, I'm going to be watching the Scrubs seasons once I finish to office, but I'm sure its a funny reference

Two suggestions for the Brit is enough for me!

Good question, I was only recommending the Brit based on the amount of TV's and the beer selection. I always go there after the games I attend. I am not sure on that. You could always go to Stanley's, the place at the Sharks practice facility.

Though I do have dark red hair

My friends scored tickets. I didn't (unless a last minute miracle), so I'll be rollin' solo

Well the sound actually doesn't matter too much, as long as I can watch. And since I'm heading to another local dive bar after (on San Carlos) its the best choice.

Stanley's is always great, I frequent there after my games. There's nothing more motivating to win a game in the adult league than buy two get one free for the winning team

Coaches in Campbell, and Hooters in Campbell are solid. The Brit in DT is good too. Just get there early so you can get a good seat.

Nice, I want to start playing ice. Roller just makes too much sense right now, money wise and schedule wise.

You frequent Hooters a lot huh? I haven't been there yet, but I will get there one of these days.

About once a month for a Sharks game. The food is good, they have Hefeweizen and the game is broadcast through speakers throughout the entire place.

Oh, and there's hotties everywhere with half their ass hanging out.

Any good places to watch on the Peninsula - say, San Mateo/Redwood City/Burlingame area?

I started going there during Christmas break and it is awesome. A good amount of people always show up and provide some good competition. My hometown is Half Moon Bay and I go to St. Mary's, which is in Moraga, so either way, it is quite a drive for me. However, I am trying to go there 2 times a week. Let me know when you might be there and maybe we could play together. I'd love to meet some people to play with because I plan on joining a league in the summer.

I play in a Sunday night league there. It is definitely fun.

The best days for pickup are always Monday and Friday. I have heard that Wednesday is good too but those other days seem to get the most players who are good, some really good. Tuesday and Thursday are hit and miss, sometimes people there and sometimes not.
