it will be a good test to see how we respond tonight for sure. do we start Garon or JDD or keep riding roli, even with last nights loss

Wow no Roli in nets, is this world coming to an end

I think the Oilers rebound tonight with a 5-3 win. MacIntyre scores 3

Well here we go again. Win 2 lose 2.

5-3 Avs. They will show us how hard it really is going to be to make the playoffs this year.

On a positive note, that means the Oilers will win 2 of 3 before the break...

i would bet the oilers respond good, Garons gotta be chompin at the bit to get back in there after being out so long. The Av's in the last few years havent played the oilers too to well so im gonna go with Edmonton wining 3-1. Cole having a goal and assist too.

All I can think of was the comment after they got spanked by the Hawks, at least we get to play less than 24hrs later, and we can respond. Yeah, some response . Lets see if they do any better. I am not usually a betting man when it comes to the Oilers, because I always hope for the best, but I am willing to bet that they lay another turd on the ice tonight. Not serious, just saying. I hope they prove me wrong. While they're at it, I hope they prove me wrong on not thinking they are capable of making the playoffs.

Confidence is a fickle thing, and the Oilers have none. Every big game they play, they find a way to lose. This isn't a huge game or anything, they already blew the two big ones against Vancouver and Minny. The only thing this will accomplish is window dressing. They are still close. I guess we'll see what they got.

We absolutely cannot drop back to back divisional games.

This team better play inspired hockey. Having Garon in net scares me, he could easily spoil a good effort by the club. JDD would be my choice tonight.

Not predicting a score hasn't helped so I'm gonna say Oilers win 3-2

Grebs has played ok but he's still giving the puck away more than any other 'D', and in scary situations. Luckly, he isn't bad at recovering it. I hope you're joking about Grebs and Gilbert. Somewhere in the future Grebs may be better than Gilbert but not yet...The problem with Gilbert has been he isn't the top 'D' like he was for the last half of the games last year with more time and responsibility, especially on the PP. Given that time and we'd be thinking a lot higher of him, same as last year.

Also on another positive note. The rollercoaster still works and is on the track without any signs of wear and tear.

With Garon in net, no chance for the Oilers.

You're kidding right?

That's happened what; once, maybe twice since he's been here?

enough times to get him benched earlier in the season.

I actually thought the oil deserved better last night and because of that they'll come out strong and take the lead early. If they have a three goal cushion going into the third they'll win. If it's only two, the third will be very hard to watch.

According to the Oilers website, Struds is questionable with a wrist injury. Hasn't played since the SJ game.

Also according to their website, Garon starts. That means the Oilers will have to score 5 or 6 goals to even have a chance to win.
